The Roade House had several highlights that made my stay enjoyable. The spacious room allowed me to relax comfortably. Paul, the owner, showed genuine care and attention, making the experience all the more pleasant. The atmosphere not only felt welcoming but also had a sense of warmth, especially coming from the heating in the room. Coffee and tea facilities were convenient during my stay. the shower experience could use improvement. it didn’t work as well as expected. another bedside table would have made the room feel less cramped for my needs. this place clearly strives to offer great hospitality even with minor issues.

There were a few hiccups. The bed could've used some extra comfort, and it lacked another bedside table, which made it a bit cramped for two. access issues on arrival left us feeling like we’d entered a ghost town—doors locked and no reception around. Oh, and the shower? It wasn't exactly the best experience, and the bath took ages to empty. A good dusting wouldn’t hurt either, as it felt a bit neglected.

Perfect spot for a cozy evening
I have to say, the cocktails were out of this world,, especially the tropical martini—it was like a paradise in a glass! The staff treated me like royalty, even offered food to my room when I arrived late—sandwich with soup, incredible!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

It was just a fine choice for a short-term stay in Northampton with fantastic value for money. The room was lovely and warm upon arrival, making our first night comfortable. Bring your own tea bags as the complimentary ones weren’t great.

Perfect spot for a birthday bash
Hired out a lovely venue for my husband's 40th, and it was absolutely fab! Staff were super chill and helpful, making everything run smooth. The setup was effortless and our guests were raving about the cakes. Just a bit of a wait for the food during peak hours, but it didn’t dampen the fun!
